What You’ll Do

You will own the post-production pipeline. We are not looking for a “cutter”; we are looking for a creative partner who can take raw footage and elevate it into a compelling narrative without needing step-by-step hand-holding.

• Narrative Construction

  You will review raw footage (interviews, product walkthroughs, vlogs), identify the core message, and structure the edit to maximize retention. You know how to kill the "fluff" to keep the pacing tight.

• Advanced Screen Polish

  You will transform standard screen recordings into cinematic assets. This means manually adding smooth zooms, motion blur, cursor highlighting, and easing to make software demos look professional.

• Audio Engineering

  You are responsible for the entire sonic landscape. This includes noise reduction, EQ, compression for clear dialogue, and sound design (using risers, whooshes, and ambient tracks) to drive the edit forward.

• Motion Graphics & Typography

  You will implement custom kinetic typography, lower thirds, and intro/outro animations that align strictly with our brand guidelines.

• Color Grading

  You will fix white balance issues and apply a consistent, clean grade to ensure all footage looks cohesive and high-end.

Qualifications

• •Technical Mastery: Deep proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or DaVinci Resolve. You understand proxies, codecs, and export settings for various platforms.
• •The "Editor's Ear": You understand rhythm. You cut on the beat. You know when to use silence for impact and when to use a fast cut to keep energy high.
• •Visual Taste: You have a portfolio that demonstrates a minimalist, premium aesthetic. You understand that "less is more" and avoid cheap-looking transitions or effects.
• •File Hygiene: You keep your project files organized (bins, labeling, version control). If we need to open your project file, it must be clean and navigable.
• •High Agency: You spot problems (bad lighting, awkward pauses) and fix them without being asked. You make creative decisions to improve the final output.

• •After Effects: Ability to create custom motion assets from scratch.
• •Thumbnail Design: Strong Photoshop skills to create high-CTR thumbnails that match the video hook.
• •Sound Design: Experience with advanced audio mixing (Foley, layering SFX).
